| The Science, Philosophy and Religion of Spiritualism |
The following Declaration of Principles is
published to the world, not as a creed binding on
the conscious of the individual, but as the
consensus of a very large majority of Spiritualists
on the fundamental teachings of Spiritualism:
1. We believe in Infinite Intelligence.
2. We believe that the phenomena of Nature, both
physical and spiritual, are the expression of Infinite
Intelligence.
3. We affirm that a correct understanding of such
expression and living in accordance therewith,
constitute true religion.
4. We affirm that the existence and personal identity of
the individual continue after the change called death
5. We affirm that communication with the so-called
dead is a fact, scientifically proven by the phenomena
of Spiritualism.
6. We believe that the highest morality is contained in
the Golden Rule: "Do unto others as you would have
them do unto you."
7. We affirm the moral responsibility of individuals, and
that we make our own happiness or unhappiness as we
obey or disobey Nature’s physical and spiritual laws.
8. The doorway to reformation is never closed against
and soul, here or hereafter.
9. We affirm that the precepts of Prophecy and Healing
are Divine attributes proven through Mediumship.

What is the service like?
We have hymn singing and prayers like most
church services. Our worship service consists
basically of three parts: Healing by NSAC
commissioned healers, Sermon by our ministers or
guest speakers, and Spirit greetings by NSAC
certified mediums.
Healing: During this part of the service you will
experience a guided meditation. At one part during
the meditation you will be able to sit in one of the
healing chairs, where a trained healer will channel
Spirit to direct the healing light to your needs.
Sermon: Like most church services, we get to
hear words of wisdom from our minister and/or
guest speakers. At New Dawn Spirit of Light
Church you will hear only up beat, informative
sermons. They last about 20-25 minutes.
Spirit Greetings: In this part of the service we
prove that life continues to exist, even after the
change called death. You may get a message
from a loved one who has crossed over, or an
uplifting greeting that you need to hear for
confirmation, from one of our spiritually guided
mediums.
